Men’s Health
As of 50 years of age, men begin to suffer from sterility, and this has direct repercussions on their general health in both physical and psychological terms. To sum up, we are talking about: prostate alterations, sexual alterations, and hormonal alterations.
The prostate can suffer from three kinds of alterations:
-Hyperplasia (BPH): this is benign prostate growth that may cause problems on urinating.
Prostate cancer: this is the second most common cancer in men. It is a cancer that is curable when there is an early diagnosis before symptoms appear.
-Prostatitis: this is an inflammation of the prostate and usually affects young men.

It is advisable for all men over 50 years of age to have an annual check-up on their prostate. If there are direct family precedents (father or brother) of prostate cancer, it is advisable to begin annual check-ups at 40 years of age.
